Every document is scored against what its type actually requires. A feasibility study is judged on decision clarity and downside honesty; a funding case on the numbers holding together; a marketing plan on whether the channels connect to the audience described.
What pushes a score down
- Sections that assert without grounding — no because, no evidence.
- Financials that do not reconcile with the narrative around them.
- Missing strategic foundations: no mission, no measurable objectives, no success factors.
- A reader and a decision that were never named, so nothing can be aimed.
Use it as a queue
Work the critique top-down and regenerate individual sections rather than the whole file. Most documents move from adequate to persuasive in three targeted rewrites, not one full rebuild.
A perfect score is not the goal. A document whose weaknesses you can name out loud is already stronger than one that hides them.
Put this to work on your own venture
Describe the business once and the engine researches, drafts and scores the document — then tells you what changed when you come back to it.
