Choosing the right plan type

What each built-in document is for, and who reads it.

  • Business plan — the full case for the venture. Read by lenders, investors and boards.
  • Lean one-pager — the whole model on a single page. Read by co-founders and early advisers.
  • Pitch narrative — the story and the ask. Read by investors in a room.
  • Feasibility study — can this work, honestly. Read by you, before you commit money.
  • Operational plan — how the work actually runs, week to week.
  • Marketing plan — who you're reaching, with what, at what cost.
  • Financial plan — projections, assumptions, sensitivities.
  • Contingency plan — what breaks and what you do about it.
  • Growth plan — the next stage, sequenced.
  • Share prospectus / offer document — the terms and risks of an offer to investors.

If your document isn't in that list, it isn't a limitation. Choose 'Something else', describe what you need, and the engine designs a six-to-twelve section outline for it, then writes and critiques it like any built-in type.
